DCA in the heat
I don’t want to get started on how stupid the whole shoe thing with the TSA but today was bad even by their standards. They made me take off my flip-flops for some inane reason. Even assuming I wanted to smuggle in a shoe bomb there’s no way a flip-flop has the volume to do anything.
The crazy thing about this was that at other airports they’ve explicitly allowed smaller shoes. It’s the abitrary nature of these rules that really piss me off.

Fuck Humidity
Just got to cincinatti. And coming from Denver the humidity hit me
like a truck.
I know it’ll be a lot worse once I get to DC and I’m not excited.
Surprisingly short lines at DIA on my way to Cincinatti then Washington National. The Cinci leg is looking to be crappy on this old MD88 not to mention that I have to spend time in Ohio, blegh.
