A video of continuum, the windows chat app featured in my last post. Unfortunately it’s not being maintained or released by thirteen23.
All posts tagged application.
Thirteen23 is an interesting production company which actually is developing gorgeous apps for, surprise surprise, Windows. This chat app looks very nice and I love the idea they have of integrating some functionality into a gadget. If only the Windows gadget system was as useful as the mac.
They have lots of mock ups and only a few live apps, the most notable being blu. It’s a twitter app that is very gorgeous, and still functional. The one downside of it is that, compared to most popular twitter apps, it lacks some of the more advanced features.
I’ve always wondered why windows apps were so horrendous looking. I thought perhaps that the API’s weren’t out there, this shows that they exist currently. I’m not sure if they’ve always been out, or how good they are. It’ll be nice to see some more dev houses follow this route and make good looking Windows apps.
There are plenty of iPhone apps out there for weather, how come none of them offer hourly reports?
I was wondering what the best Flickr iPhone app is. To be honest I don’t care much about browsing, I mainly want something good for uploading photos from the phone. I used iFlickr on my jailbroken 1.1.4 iPhone and it was perfect for what I needed.
Snackr is a new Adobe AIR app that lets you display items in your RSS feeds in a beautiful scrolling ticker on any edge of your screen. Nice find markbean!!
Holy heck, this thing is unbelievably amazing!
I have to agree on the awesomeness of this thing (in theory). Can’t wait to try it when i get home.
for code snippets + notes. simple and pretty interface, i love it!
This is pretty nifty. I’d like to see synchronization with Pastie.org and/or google notes. I’m curious if it supports ruby/rails/erb syntax, especially erb.
Photoshop for Music This looks like a powerful piece of software. How does it render all those waveforms so fast?
This is a really badass piece of software. I really wish I had any musical ability. I do wonder though if this would allow me to do something that I’ve been dying to try and do for a few weeks now. Remix Peter Gabriel’s vocals into NIN instrumentals.
FINALLY a program for making iPhone ringtones that is easy to use and doesn’t require a bunch of steps.
