There’s no shortage of Inaugural Balls coming up. It seems that every special interest group is throwing one of these things. As it is the American way to use any and every excuse to celebrate/consume alcohol/congregate and be merry, please join us for The DC Tumblr Inaugural Ball* on Sunday, January 18th.
*In no way is this an actual ball, nor is it likely to be an event with any type of class, elegance or any of the other things associated with balls.
What it will be is a bunch of Tumblrs from DC or those visiting our Nation’s Capital, enjoying the finest of DC’s watering holes, the aptly-named Recessions. One look at the high quality web-site and you’ll get the picture. It’s dark. It’s dank. Most importantly, it’s dirt cheap.
What better way to show our true Patriotism by simultaneously celebrating the new president in totally nonpartisan fashion and reining in our spending?
