AATW talks about the discussion as to whether long posts belong on tumblr.

I believe that tumblr is not the place for long form articles. The medium is not conducive to reading longer posts. When one reads though tumblogs they do so with a more skimming mindset. You go though the dashboard watching short videos, checking out cool images. When I come across a long post I’m unable to read it because I don’t have the time to when I’m usually reading the dash. There is also no simple way to bookmark these posts for later reading.

As I make this post hypocritically long I thought I’d mention that I’m currently coding my new web site which includes a blog where I’ll be posting my longer posts.
