Warning: more Hillary bashing
Similarity between Hillary and Bush #167: Unwilling to admit mistakes. Re: unwilling to admit that her vote for the war was a mistake. PS. They’re giving Hillary a lot more time to talk in this debate then Obama! Fuckers!

Peter W Knox .com - Unabridged Chat on Politics,... →
This whole conversation is hilarious, I especially like the end (it’s in reference to Lincoln): Mike: he signed the legislation in 1862 that put the TCRR in construction, and its largely viewed as one of his great successes Peter: the second is returning to earth in Obama’s body Mike: next to freeing the slaves and blah blah blah civil war blah

Disgusting
It’s really disgusting that Clinton is NOW fighting for the delegates in Florida/Michigan to count, after she was the only one who really campaigned in either of these states. Hillary’s politics are really disgusting, even if I didn’t have a problem with her policies I would find the way she’s running her campaign extremely off-putting.

40 Years of dumbing down is the only effective thing our educational system has accomplished! My kids are 21 and 17, and I basically ‘deprogrammed’ them every day after school, talking about the unbelievable things they were being taught! My kids were always one of only one or two ‘critical thinkers’ in each class, who actually questioned some of the things that were being...

State of the union
me @ politiks: Well, I tried to watch the state of the union. After Bush said Nukuler I couldn’t really focus on it so I did something else with the TV on in the background. With that said I was impressed by Bush’s views on immigration. He’s actually realistic about it and isn’t going with his parties radical view on the subject. On the other hand, especially at the beginning, we saw the...

Read it Later Firefox Extension →
This is sort of like Marco’s instapaper but built around the Fx bookmark system. It’s really great for me to go back and read things I didn’t have time to. There’s two downsides: 1. It’s not compatible with Fx3 2. It’s not portable, I’d love to see this work with google bookmarks so I could keep this list wherever I am.

I gotta admit it
I have a bit of a mancrush on George Cloony. It’s not his looks, it’s just I like how he acts and I generally like the movies he’s in. I just saw Michael Clayton in case you were wondering. Not sure what to make of it I may post a review later.

OSx86 Update
After 4 successful installs (including one successful dual-boot) I cant get the OSX partition to boot. The strange thing is how this appeared seemingly randomly. It’s been quite irritating. I’m not giving up though. I’m gonna get this fucker and know more because of it. I’ll be writing up some basics and I’ll be more then happy to help anyone out with it after I...

IE8's compatability solution
When IE8 eventually ships, it will have three rendering modes, two of which are the already familiar “quirks mode” and “(not so) standards mode.” In an IE team blog entry, IE Platform Architect Chris Wilson revealed a third mode that can be invoked by developers: “Quirks mode” remains the same, and compatible with current content. “Standards...

OSx86
I’ve been working on installing Leopard on my PC for the past few hours and here’s where I’m at: Good: I got 10.5.1 installed with all drivers working properly. Bad: The mac disk utility somehow deleted the partition on the drive I backed up all my information onto. I just formatted an re-installed windows and pirated some recovery software. Right now it’s scanning...

Canon introduces 450D/Rebel XSi →
reblogged from marco: My wonderful XTi is finally beaten by this: 12 MP Live on-screen preview Larger viewfinder Larger screen Spot metering Slightly more ergonomic Kit will use the new image-stabilized cheap lens A bunch of small improvements But there’s a significant barrier for XTi upgraders with accessories: Uses SD cards instead of CF. Buy all new memory. Uses a different...

I'm a sucker
My roomate has an iPod Touch and playing with it makes me realize how badly i want an iPhone. The primary issue currently isn’t the money (lucky me) I just really feel like it’d be much better to wait till there’s a 3G version and I REALLY don’t want to sign a contract. I know it shouldn’t be too hard to wait until the 3G iPhone comes out but it’s just so...

– Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke This is why tax cuts for lower-middle class are so effective as an economic stimulus. Higher income persons are more likely to use tax cuts to pay off debt or add to savings portfolios.

Shocking
I’ve always known my middle name was the Hebrew name Etan(אֵיתָן), however i thought that the official English spelling was Ethan. I was shocked to recently discover that my actual middle name may be spelled out as Etan. I’m gonna grab my birth certificate/passport asap and find out. A bit of a mindfuck if this turns out to be true.

The Wussification of Sarah Connor pt. 2
In episode three Sarah doesn’t seem to know anything about computers or electronics. She fucking TAUGHT John how to hack. On the upside she at least holds a gun properly. Overall this show isn’t great, but it’s not bad enough to stop me watching it. Something which can’t be said about Bionic Woman, SHE CANT FUCKING FIGHT IN HEALS, I DON’T CARE IF SHE’S SUPER!
